This is a model of the sort of galley housed in the sheds on Djurgården now occupied by the Spritmuseum. It was called a Truma, and was built in 1771 to counter similar ships from Russia. We saw it two days later at the Maritime Museum (Sjöhistoriska). It had 19 oars a side, 4 men per oar, and guns on two decks. They belonged to the Archipelago Fleet, an arm of the Army, not the Navy.
