We went to the 2011 conference of the Society for Industrial Archaeology in Seattle 2-5 June. We combined this with two nights in Tacoma and four in Victoria, traveling by rental car and car ferry. We arrived at Seatac Airport on 25 May and drove to Tacoma, where we stayed at Plum Duff B&B. (The dates shown below the photos are off by 16 hours, since my camera was still set to Tokyo time.)
