This was a day without opera, and we drove up to Chimayo to drink margaritas and eat New Mexican food outdoors. Then we came back to visit some potters at Santa Clara who make carved and sgraffito pots (called "etched" locally). This is the landscape between the Santa Clara and Santo Domingo pueblos.
