At Russell Square we saw the impsing Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel. Origninally the Russell Hotel when it was built in 1898, it was designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll and featured ensuite bathrooms, a great innovation at the time. Its restaurant is said to be almost identical to the Titanic's dining room which Doll also designed.
