We walked past a museum just off the Piazza Navona where we saw this carriage. It was made in France for the marriage of Sigismondo Chgi to Geovanna Medici d'Ottajano in 1776 in Naples. The Chigi family started in Sienna and became immensely rich bankers in the 15c in Rome.
