The villa from the Augustan age was discovered in 1879. The curved esedra (curved portico with benches) G connected two symmetric wings, of which only one was excavated. The row of small rooms in the south N was probably slave quarters. L was a garden. A staircase in O led to an upper story which has not survived. A is a partly underground cryptoporticus.
