Mosaic pavement from the bath of the Villa Baccano, on mile 16 of via Cassia, a property of the Septimii family, to which the emperor Septimius Severus (AD 193-211) belonged. It was excavated and the mosaics removed 1869-70. Oceanus is at center, surrounded by marine animals.
