After lunch we took a taxi to Shurijo, the castle of the fprmer Ryukyu Kingdom.The principal historic buildings are the red cluster at center top within two rings of walls. The inner walls were built in early 15c, and the outer walls in mid-16c.The modern visitor center is in the brown cluster at right center.
