The station on Mt. Hiei. The cable is a loop that comes up to here, around a big pulley and then descends 2.0 km to the Sakamoto staion and around a second pulley. one side of the loop carries a car up while the other side carries another car down. The cable then changes direction, rotating the other way. There is a short section of two parallel tracks where the two cars pass each other.
