We visited Robert Yellin, the Japanese ceramics expert and gallery owner, in Kyoto and he took us out to lunch at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Each plate held two nigiri. Mariana and I ate off the near stack: 12 nigiri sushi each. The faucet dispenses boiling hot water to make your own tea.
