This is the manhole cover appendix that I promised you earlier in this slide show. If you get this far, you're hard core! This manhole cover is in Nagoya. Nagoya Castle is shown on the left. The figure on the right is the carp (tail at the top, head on the bottom) that appears at the ends of the ridge on Nagoya Castle. The middle kanji in the center means fire, so this probably covers a fire hydrant.
