Hama-rikyu Garden is just south of Nihinbashi. It was first part of Edo Castle defensive works, then a falconry park for the younger brother of the 4th Tokugawa shogun, an Imperial residence, and fin 1945 was given to Tokyo as a public park. It is surrounded by water, and the pond is tidal. Tokyo Bay is at the top of this map.
