"This train was formerly known as DSC1001 and served as the Taiwan Railways Administration director-general’s official train. It used to serve as a temporary command center during natural disasters and major accidents. With the growth of tourism on TRA’s branch lines, TRA invited an arts master, Mr. Akibo Lee, to design two cartoon icons by applying aliens looking for hometown as story to renovate this train to a painted train. It now is running on Jiji Line, which features abundant cultural resources, diverse ecology and beautiful scenery."
