Hurtigruten 2014

The bus tour started at Harstad, at top right. First we went a little north to Trondenes, to see a stone church and a history museum. (We didn't get to see the large naval gun "Adolf" that the Germans installed here for coastal defence.) Then we took a long ride to catch a ferry in the middle of the map. The ferry ride was long enough to have tea and pastries onboard, after which the bus ride continued along a series of picturesque fjords. We crossed a tall bridge to Sortland, on the left, just as our ship sailed under it.
