Leaving the cathedral, directly ahead across the Peristyle is an opening obstructed by two medieval buildings that leads to what is now called the Temple of Jupiter, but which Adam knew as the Temple of Asclepius. Note the bracing timbers: like the portico things are tending to collapse.
