Cincinnati 2012

The most interesting stop in the two days of industrial touring we did with the SIA was at the Erhart Foundry in Cincinnati. These are wooden models (patterns) for objects that Erhart casts in iron. They make things in a large variety of iron alloys, includinggrey and ductile materials. The iron castings will look like these wooden objects.
