A docent took my photo with Pete. While looking for the Loch Ness Monster, an aircraft wreck was discovered in the 1970s. Robin Homes of Heriot-Watt University developed survey equipment that identified the aircraft as a Wellington. Funds and sponsors were raised and salvage and restoration began in 1985.
