Locomotive Class 05 001.It was built in 1935, 05 002 in 1935, and 05 003 in 1937. Class 05 was the fastest German steam locomotive. It set the world record of 200 km/ht in 1936. In 1938 that record was broken by the British Mallard locomotive with 203 km/hr, still the world record for steam locomotives.
