The Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technolog in Krakow houses the collection of Feliks Jasieński (penname "Manngha"). He donated it to the National Museum in 1921, but it was not housed or displayed until the Polish film director Andrzej Wajda received a film award in Kyoto and donated it toward construction of this building, designed by Arata Isozaki.
