The jumble of titanium ribbon is the Jay Pritzker Pavilion, donated by a member of the family that owns Hyatt hotels. It was designed by Frank Gehry. The building beyond was designed by Edward Durrell Stone as the Standard Oil Building, now called the Aon Center.
