I have postcards addressed to Master Edgar Durbin dated 26 Dec 1905 at 2307 Humboldt St, Denver and four postcards dated from 19 Sep 1909 to 18 June 1910 at 1350 Williams St, Denver

Note the distinctive upward curve to the gable and hip roofs.

I have six postcards addressed to Master Edgar Durbin at 1811 J Avenue, Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY postmarked from 25 May 1913 to 4 Dec 1913, and one addressed to 671 E. 17th Sreet, Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY. The Durbins lived in Denver before and after this, and I do not know why they were in Brooklyn.

The date suggests that he went to Europe on a tramp steamer after his first year at Harvard Medical School.

This may be in Atherton, CA where we lived for about 1 year while Dad was assigned to Letterman General Hospital.

Probably the medical staff at Fort Lewis hospital. Dad was Chief of Medicine there.

By the end of the war Dad was a full colonel.
