MARRIAGE: EDG007. Maiden name not quite certain.
DEATH: EDG007
BIRTH: EDG012. "She was married to Mr. A.C. Edgar in the early part of 1850. In 1883 Mr. and Mrs. Edgar and family removed to Colorado..."
BURIAL: EDG011. "The funeral of Mrs. Sarah E. Edgar, widow of Alexander C. Edgar, a former well known hardware merchant of Denver, took place Wednesday afternoon from the family residence, 1520 Detroit street. The services were conducted by Rev. Frost Craft, former pastor of Trinity M.E. church, of which Mrs. Edgar was member for many years. Mrs. Edgar was in her seventy-fifth year, having been born Jan. 2, 1830 at Mount Carmel, Ill. She was married in 1850 and in 1883 came to Colorado. The family lived for a year in Boulder and then removed to Denver. Two sons and two daughters live in Denver. The sons are William M. Edgar, chief dispatcher and trainmaster of the Moffat road, and Alexander S. Edgar. The daughters are Mrs. Robert Casey and Mrs. Charles Durbin. Another daughter, Mrs. J.W. Habberton, lives in Mount Carmel, Ill."
PARENTS: The identification of RIN-009 as the daughter of RIN-416 and -417 is provisional, based on EDG013 and EDG014. Sarah was the name of RIN-417, and Eliza was the sister of RIN-417. Tilton was the family name of RIN-416. The delay between the marriage of RIN-416 and -417 and the birth of RIN-009 is 13 years, but that is not unusual: Family 115 had children spread over 36 years!
